Dr Jonathan Panckhurst is the Clinical Director of Anaesthesia for Nelson Day Surgery and Tasman Day Surgery.
Qualifications: MBChB (Otago), BMedSci(Hons), FANZCA.
Jonathan has worked at Nelson Public Hospital since 2018, where he leads the day stay surgery portfolio for his department. Jonathan also has interests in trauma management, bariatric surgery and is the education officer for the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists. Jonathan works alongside the staff and surgical specialists of Nelson Day Surgery and Tasman Day Surgery to ensure patients receiving deep sedation and general anaesthesia enjoy safe, specialist led, care.
